Sutter Physical Therapy, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team on a full-time basis at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Wayne, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive orthopedic physical therapy services to a diverse patient population, including young athletes recovering from injuries to seniors rehabilitating after surgery.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs, aspirations, and medical histories.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and innovative therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and electrotherapy, to efficiently restore function and alleviate pain.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for each patient.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding injury prevention strategies, essential exercises for maintenance and progress, and self-care techniques to foster independence and long-term well-being.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment results in accordance with facility protocols and regulatory standards.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in physical therapy and participate in relevant training to provide the best possible care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

We cater to a wide range of patients predominantly focusing on those with orthopedic concerns, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Our clinic serves a varied demographic from children to elderly patients, allowing for a rewarding experience in treating different age groups with distinct needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Valid state licensure/certification as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills with the ability to develop effective treatment strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster strong relationships with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
