Role Overview The Medication Aide/Med Tech ensures residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity. Key responsibilities include administering medications per physician orders, following the Six Rights of Medication Administration, documenting in MAR/TAR in real-time, observing residents during and after medication passes, monitoring symptoms, and reporting concerns promptly. Maintaining clean medication carts and rooms, adhering to infection control and safety standards, and completing narcotic counts are essential duties. This role is vital in preventing medication errors, early detection of health changes, and safeguarding resident safety through attention to detail and regulatory compliance.
