Job Title: Tool & Die Maker ($28-30/hour)

Job Description

The Tool and Die Maker will analyze specifications, lay out metal stock, and set up and operate manual and CNC machines to make and repair dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and hand tools. This role will support both Operations and Engineering Research and Development projects. The position requires experience working with mills and lathes, both vertical and horizontal, and may involve running a variety of CNC machines to enhance overall productivity. Additionally, the Machinist will set up and operate a variety of measuring machine tools to produce precision parts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze specifications and lay out metal stock.
• Set up and operate manual and CNC machines.
• Make and repair dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and hand tools.
• Support Operations and Engineering R&D projects.
• Operate CNC machines to enhance productivity.
• Perform setup and operation of measuring machine tools for precision parts production.

Essential Skills

• Extensive experience with CNC machines, mills, and lathes.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and machine setup.
• Experience with CNC Mill and CNC Lathe machining.
• Ability to use hand tools, repair dies, and cutting tools.

Work Environment

This role is based in a new manufacturing facility. The environment is climate-controlled and adheres to 5S standards, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
