Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of personal injury litigation experience to join their growing office in Fort Lee, NJ. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop and advance litigation and trial skills while working alongside experienced trial attorneys in a fast-paced, collegial environment. Duties Manage plaintiff's personal injury cases from inception through resolution and trial. Appear in court and handle routine and substantive court conferences. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery demands, and responses. Prepare and respond to interrogatories and other discovery. Take and defend depositions. Conduct legal research and draft motions and briefs. Handle motion practice and discovery disputes. Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations. Prepare cases for arbitration and trial. Assist with appeals and appellate matters as appropriate. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, insurance carriers, and experts. Maintain an organized and current caseload. Requirements Licensed New Jersey attorney in good standing. Minimum of 5 years of personal injury litigation experience. Experience in plaintiff's personal injury law. Comfortable managing a significant caseload. Strong legal writing and communication skills. Comfortable appearing in court and handling litigation independently. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Self-motivated and able to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in New Jersey. Skills Strong litigation and trial skills. Effective communication and negotiation abilities. Proficient in legal research and writing. Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
