About This Role
Join a family-focused care team at Gingerbread Preschool and Child Care Center, serving generations of families in the Watertown area. We offer a fun and welcoming environment where children can learn and grow. If you're passionate about working with kids, come be a part of our team!
What You'll Do- Help create a positive atmosphere where children feel safe, secure, and encouraged
- Establish open and regular communication with parents/guardians
- Support fellow team members to foster a fun learning environment
- Provide a space for children to learn, grow and explore
- Be able to pass background checks
- Have a passion for working with children
- Have the ability to assist with the implemented curriculum to foster the love of learning - the directors and/or other staff members will provide support with this while your knowledge grows
- Take CPR/AED training within the first 6 months
- Have a positive attitude and reliable work ethic
- Be physically able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodations
- Be able to work Monday - Friday, flexible hours
- Act as a positive role model
