The Southwest Louisiana Veterans Home is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse Supervisor B to aid nursing staff in providing high‑quality care to our honored veterans. This full‑time government position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day. Qualifications Possession of a current Louisiana Registered Nurse license or a temporary permit or multi‑state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact state to practice as a registered nurse. Four years of experience as a licensed registered nurse; or A bachelor’s degree in nursing plus three years of experience as a licensed registered nurse; or A master’s degree in nursing or public health plus three years of experience as a licensed registered nurse; or A doctorate in nursing or public health plus two years of experience as a licensed registered nurse. Provide supervision and management of direct and indirect resident care. Conduct rounds to inspect, review records, and monitor the environment to ensure resident safety. Ensure residents receive adequate nursing care while also performing assessments as needed.
