Details Progressive Care Stepdown Transitional unit located on the 4th floor Cardiac specialty unit with 22 beds Patient population includes cardiac observation, post cardiac catheterization lab patients, and cardioversion cases in an adult population Patient ratio of 4:1 Uses telemetry equipment Paragon EMR used Night shift schedule (7 PM - 7 AM) Every other weekend required No call requirements Floating required Requirements Active RN license (NC or Compact) required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA certifications required) Minimum 2 years of experience required Step-down or ICU experience required Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimum required Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Provide cardiac nursing care including monitoring, post-cath lab recovery, and cardioversion procedures Team-oriented environment requiring strong communication skills and flexibility Navy scrub color required Offensive tattoos and non-facility tops not permitted Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility Candidates who have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time American Traveler Job ID P-748942.
