Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring a NC or compact license and at least 1 year of experience.

Details

• Work in a Medical Surgical Combination unit within a 154-bed hospital
• Adult and geriatric patient population with common diagnoses including fractures, COPD, hypertension, chest pain, CHF, and infections
• 39-bed unit
• Uses Paragon EHR
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required on weekends
• No call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required
• AHA certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Navy blue scrubs required for RNs; grey for CNAs
• Social security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Duke Lifepoint hospital offering orthopedics, spine services, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, ED, and behavioral health services
• Chest Pain Center and Joint Commission accredited facility
• Located in Clyde, NC, near Asheville and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park
• Candidates must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
