Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team during orthopedic, neurosurgical spine, vascular, and plastics flap procedures
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field in the operating room
• Handle and pass surgical instruments and supplies to the surgical team during procedures
• Ensure proper setup of the operating room prior to each procedure
• Adhere to all infection control, safety, and facility compliance standards

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Surgical Technologist License
• Current BLS certification
• NBSTSA Certification (CST)
• Flu vaccine required
• Experience in orthopedic and neurosurgical spine procedures
• Experience in vascular and plastics flap procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Broad multi-specialty surgical technologist experience
• Familiarity with a high-volume, acute care hospital environment
