The pay range for this position is $32.62–44.94 per hour, offers will be based on the successful candidate’s experience. Role and Responsibilities Perform complex tests and record detailed observations related to project requirements. Maintain comprehensive and accurate project records. Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to other technicians. Ensure all work adheres to industry standards and project specifications. Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure accurate and reliable test results. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during field activities. Understand and read plans and specifications applicable to inspection duties and requirements. Have knowledge of the California Building Code (CBC), International Building Code (IBC), ASTM Standards, ACI Standards and AWS Standards. Clearly write daily field reports and non‑conformance reports. Exercise high levels of ethics. Education and Experience Completed technical training in a relevant field. Nationally recognized certifications required; at least one ICC certification for those with 2–5 years of experience. 2–5 years of relevant experience. Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills. Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of technicians. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. In‑depth knowledge of safety practices and procedures in fieldwork environments. Appropriate ICC, ACI, AWS and/or Nuclear Gauge certifications. Two years of construction related experience. High school diploma or GED. Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
