Operations Manager

Job Description Founded nearly 30 years ago, Argus Medical is a physician practice management company servicing the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County and Inland Empire areas. Argus Medical provides comprehensive management services to support physicians in private practice. We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily administrative and operational functions of our healthcare management organization. This role is responsible for improving operational efficiency, supporting cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and driving continuous process improvements across the organization. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily business operations to ensure efficient workflows and service delivery. Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices. Coordinate activities across administrative, billing, credentialing, compliance, and client service teams. Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Prepare operational reports, analyze key performance metrics, and present findings to senior leadership. Assist with budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic planning initiatives. Lead process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and productivity. Collaborate with department managers to achieve organizational goals. Support staff development through coaching, training, and performance management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Management, or a related field preferred. 3+ years of operations management or healthcare administration experience. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare management software. Knowledge of healthcare operations, compliance, medical billing, or practice management is preferred. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
