We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Financial Plan Associate to drive the client onboarding and plan preparation process across our financial planning operations. In this role, you will bridge the gap between financial professionals, paraplanners, and internal accounting teams to ensure financial planning engagements are executed accurately, efficiently, and in full accordance with firm guidelines. As a Financial Plan Associate, you will serve as a primary point of contact for financial planning platforms and software, providing crucial support, data oversight, and system guidance for the Financial Integrators Network advisors to deliver an exceptional client experience.

Location : This position is based in Coralville, IA or Des Moines, IA. A hybrid work schedule is available, with a mix of in-office and remote work to support collaboration, flexibility, and business needs.

What You’ll Do

Financial Plan Preparation & Data Management

• Facilitate the gathering of client data and handle accurate data entry into financial plans.
• Prepare personalized meeting materials and ensure completed financial plans are provided to applicable parties.
• Communicate with key stakeholders to collect outstanding plan details in a timely manner.

Advisor & Workflow Coordination

• Coordinate with paraplanners to ensure financial plan details are properly reflected on meeting agendas and within the CRM.
• Schedule advisor meetings with financial planners to maintain seamless project timelines.
• Coordinate with the internal accounting department to ensure accurate billing of financial planning fees and annual subscriptions.

System Engagement & Support

• Own the overall oversight of financial planning engagements to guarantee alignment with firm guidelines.
• Assist financial professionals with onboarding to financial planning systems and software.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting, training, and support related to financial planning tools, serving advisors within the Financial Integrators Network.

Compensation: The anticipated pay range for this position is $26.00–$33.00 per hour, based on your level of experience and technical expertise.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent practical experience) and 2+ years of experience in the financial industry; specific experience within the securities industry is a plus.
• Holding or actively working toward the Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional (FPQP™) designation is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with financial planning software (specifically MoneyGuidePro, eMoney, and/or RightCapital).
• Solid understanding of core financial planning principles and investment strategies.
• Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills; exceptional attention to detail; excellent communication and relationship-building abilities; and a self-starter mindset.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time in an office environment.
• Working on a computer for extended periods of time.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
