Quality Control Technician

Qualified TechnicianThe job of a Qualified Technician is to test concrete and materials used for producing concrete in accordance with test methods, specifications and imi protocol.Key Responsibilities:Perform testing procedures and report those results to the QC ManagerDemonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environmentsMaintain records and report results in a neat and timely mannerSample and test raw materialsMaintain a clean and professional labConcrete troubleshootingAdditional duties/special projects as assigned by managementPerform testing procedures, evaluate the results and report those results to the QC ManagerMaintain certifications and qualifications through exams, seminars and related industry coursesCooperate with their respective QC Manager in addition to assisting in achieving and maintaining the company's corporate quality visionMaintain an appropriate level of professionalism and exhibit a manner of conduct consistent with promoting a good image for the companyRequirements:High School diploma or GED requiredACI Level 1 CertifiedMust be safety oriented and experienced with OSHA regulations.Some experience in the concrete industry is a plus but not requiredMust have the ability to perform mathematical operations involving variables and percentagesMust have the ability to assess situations and solve problems quicklyMust have the ability to lift 80 poundsComputer skills in G-Suite and Microsoft Office.Effective oral and written communication skillsCompensation: Dependent on experience and qualifications.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
