Shift & Schedule: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend
Local Candidates Required: Yes
Traveler Candidates Required: Yes

Pay Rate: $60 - $63/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced ICU RN to provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, monitor complex conditions, and support critical care interventions.

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License in hand at the time of submission.

• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience.

• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

• Strong critical care and patient assessment skills.

• Charge RN experience highly preferred.

• First-time travelers may be considered.

• Ability to work every other weekend and float as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill ICU patients.

• Monitor patients closely and identify changes in condition.

• Manage complex patient care and respond promptly to clinical changes.

• Administer medications and treatments safely according to physician orders.

• Perform ongoing assessments and accurately document patient status.

• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

• Maintain patient safety and follow infection-control procedures.

• Provide patient and family education as appropriate.

• Assist with emergency interventions and critical care procedures.

• Communicate effectively during shift changes and handoffs.

• Float to other units as required.
