You will be part of a strong team of committed professionals.The compensation range for this role is $24.00 to $28.00 , commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.Schedule: 12pm – 8pm Monday thru Friday. Training will be Monday thru Friday 9am-5pmTo thrive in this role, you’ll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:Analyze samples for metals by ICPMSReview data and assemble reportsCalibrate, maintain and repair instrumentPrepare standardsMaintain reagents and supplies inventory and order replacementsKeep workstation clean and organizedMentor Lab Technicians and Analyst I’sPerforms analyst's review of data and QCReviews of QA/QC criteria for batch acceptanceAdheres to Standard Operating Procedures and follow safe work practicesParticipates in instruments' preventative maintenance and trouble shootingParticipates in focus teams to improve efficiencyBe flexible in work schedule including overtime when neededReact to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assignedPerforming other duties and responsibilities as prescribed by the CompanyCompliance with Enthalpy's Quality Assurance Program and other policiesYour Expertise and SkillsThese requirements reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities that help you do your best work here.BA/BS in science2+ years of ICP-MS experience in an environmental labPosition requires attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and a desire to work both as part of a team and independentlyProficiency using analytical equipment including: balances, pipettes, bottle top dispensers, hot blocks, and volumetric/graduated glassware.Experience with GC-MS or ICP-MS analysis, preferably with Agilent hardware and software (Chemstation/MassHunter). Hands-on instrument maintenance experience is also highly desirable.Hands‑on ICP‑MS experience preferred - including tuning, optimization, and daily performance checks as well as acid digestion and instrument maintenanceKnowledge of analytical methods, analytical instruments, general lab practices and lab safetyFlexible in work schedule (including Saturday) and able to work overtimeWell organized and have an attention to detailAble to multi-taskAbility to work independently and make sound decisionsWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
