About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with TalentBurst, Inc. to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Rochester, New York, 14445!

Title: Registered Nurse - ER
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: 1555 Long Pond Rd Rochester, NY 14626
Schedule: Day Shift 3*12s 36hours/week

• Shift: 3 PM – 3 AM

• Experience: 1 year required; first-time travelers accepted

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS

• Ratios: 1:5 with mixed/shared acuity levels

• Weekend: Every other weekend (EOW)

• Floating: Required when census warrants

• Block Scheduling: Not guaranteed

• Local Rule: No candidates within 75 miles

• License: Active license required; pending license not accepted

• RTO: Minimal RTO preferred

• Mandatory Skills: Phlebotomy and IV placement

• Required Clinical Skills: Adult/Pediatric ED, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, blood product administration, central line care, continuous IV paralytics and sedation, emergency medications, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation, CVA and isolation precautions

• Charting: Epic preferred

• Scrubs: Any combination of navy blue and white
