If you are a positive and team oriented Registered Nurse (RN) with cath lab or ER experience, this job is for you! Schedule: This is a flexible and per diem role which emphasizes work life balance. Minimum requirement of 2-3 shifts per month. Weekends and Weekday shifts available. Shifts typically run approximately 12 hours. Requirements Active RN license in Illinois state. Sedation Experience required. Previous experience in a cath lab or ER/ICU setting required. Excellent communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Key Responsibilities Provide procedural nursing care in a fast-paced outpatient Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology environment during vascular procedures. Prepare patients for procedures, including assessments, IV placement, and patient education. Administer and monitor conscious sedation during procedures while maintaining patient comfort and safety. Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition. Provide post-procedure Recovery/PACU care, including recovery monitoring, discharge education, and patient documentation. Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and other clinical team members to ensure seamless patient care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities. Adhere to all infection control, safety, and procedural protocols within the outpatient procedure lab. #J-18808-Ljbffr
