This hands-on position combines preventative maintenance, equipment repair, and facility operations to ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment. You'll work across multiple building systems—from HVAC and plumbing to grounds maintenance and building automation—while developing your skills through practical experience and potential participation in our internal apprenticeship program. This role offers the opportunity to work independently, solve complex mechanical challenges, and directly contribute to the seamless operation of critical facilities while supporting JLL's commitment to delivering exceptional client service.What your day-to-day will look like:Perform routine and moderately complex maintenance on facility systems and equipment, including construction, plumbing, painting, vehicle upkeep, floor/wall coating, and cage repairsConduct scheduled inspections, troubleshoot machinery, and repair or replace broken or defective components while ensuring quality, safety, and proper operation of all repairsMonitor and operate the Building Automation System (BAS) for read-only functions and basic operations, and maintain the facilities incinerator with responsibility for waste removalWork on HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, air handlers, rooftop units, and building automation systemsMaintain facility grounds through lawn care, outdoor cleaning, snow removal, ice remediation, and general upkeep of buildings and outbuildingsSecure facilities through rotating open/close procedures, respond to after-hours security calls, and participate in 24-hour on-call rotating dutyDocument all maintenance activities in appropriate logs, provide guidance to less experienced maintenance workers, and assist with equipment moves and office furniture relocationRequired Qualifications:3-5 years of preventative facility maintenance experience demonstrating proficiency in moderately complex maintenance functionsValid driver's licenseHigh school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.)Ability to operate maintenance power tools and equipment safely and effectivelyPhysical capability to lift bags up to 40 pounds, climb ladders, work on concrete flooring, and stand/walk up to 90% of the workdayPreferred Qualifications:High school diploma, General Education Degree (G.E.D.) or equivalentAdditional training or education in construction, electrical, HVAC, or plumbing tradesExperience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) monitoring and operationFamiliarity with equipment calibration and preventative maintenance proceduresKnowledge of safety protocols for working in confined spaces, high places, and near moving mechanical partsWillingness to participate in formal apprenticeship training programs for ongoing skill developmentLocation: OnsiteWork Shift: M-F: 7am to 3:30pm (30 min lunch)*Availability for weekend, holiday, and occasional domestic travel as required if you are on call*This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
