Maintenance Manager

About the Role

We're looking for a Maintenance Manager who likes to think bigger than the daily breakdown. This is a strategic, systems-focused role where you'll build a proactive maintenance program designed to keep equipment running, prevent problems before they happen, and make the maintenance team more successful.

You'll partner closely with the Plant Manager, Operations, Maintenance, Sanitation, Engineering, and equipment vendors. You won't be spending your day turning wrenches or managing every technician. Instead, you'll be the person building the playbook for how maintenance gets done.

What You'll Do

You'll develop the plant's maintenance systems, including preventative maintenance programs, equipment procedures, work-order processes, and long-term 1-, 2-, and 5-year maintenance plans. You'll look at the equipment, identify future repair and replacement needs, and make sure the plant is prepared before something breaks.

You'll also use SAP/CMMS to build better processes around work orders, equipment history, repairs, and maintenance planning. You'll work with equipment vendors to figure out how the team can handle more repairs internally and turn that knowledge into step-by-step guides and a centralized library of equipment knowledge.

You'll also help connect maintenance with sanitation and operations so equipment can move smoothly from repair ? sanitation ? back into production.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with 5+ years of maintenance, reliability, engineering, or technical leadership experience, ideally in food manufacturing. SAP experience is important, and a background in reliability engineering, maintenance systems, or asset management would be a huge plus.

Most importantly, you need to be a thinker and a builder. You should enjoy figuring out why equipment fails, creating better systems, planning ahead, documenting processes, and turning tribal knowledge into something the entire maintenance team can use.

Location: Tonawanda, NY (Very AFFORDABLE Cost of Living! Lower than national average!)

Pay: $110-120k

Bonus: 15%

401K: 5% Match - Vested Immediately
