Day Pediatric Radiologist - Radiology Associates Of Florida

Job Description Radiology Associates of Florida, a Radiology Partners practice, is seeking a full‑time fellowship‑trained Pediatric Radiologist to support our growing practice in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate can read all pediatric radiology or a mix of pediatric radiology with other specialties. The expected case mix is estimated to be 70% pediatric imaging and 30% adult diagnostic imaging. This is a full‑time, partnership track opportunity. The schedule is Monday to Friday, working 220 shifts annually from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on site at Tampa General Hospital and Tampa General Hospital Outpatient Imaging Centers. This opportunity includes a full academic appointment at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, allowing collaboration with medical students, residents, and fellows in a highly productive environment. The practice offers a full range of benefits, including generous paid time off, and an internal moonlighting program that provides unmatched flexibility, allowing radiologists to moonlight from home as much or as little as they prefer without the need to commit to extra shifts.

LOCAL PRACTICE AND COMMUNITY OVERVIEW

Radiology Associates of Florida (RAF) is the leading radiology practice in Florida, serving prestigious health systems across the state. RAF’s scale affords practice stability and flexibility for radiologists in study mix and scheduling, while maintaining a quality‑oriented, subspecialty‑level interpretation culture. The practice employs state‑of‑the‑art IT, including universal PACS, AI tools, and integrated doc‑to‑doc communication widgets. RAF is locally and democratically led, and serves as a teaching site for the University of South Florida Department of Radiology in Tampa, the Florida State University College of Medicine in Sarasota, and residents from FSU Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine programs.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy; residency trained in Diagnostic Radiology
• Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
• Medical license or ability to obtain one in the state of FL
• Fellowship‑trained Pediatric Radiology preferred; fellows and residents welcome to apply

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $500,000–$1,000,000. Final determinations may vary based on factors such as education, experience, certifications, and geographic location. The role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
