QuickPro Staffing is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist for a well-established manufacturing company in Springfield, Ohio. We are looking for a skilled machinist with 5+ years of CNC machining experience who can independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC mills in a precision manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong setup and machining skills, be comfortable making programming adjustments as needed, and take pride in producing high-quality parts while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Okuma CNC Milling Machines to produce precision components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Make programming adjustments and perform on-the-fly edits when necessary.
• Design and implement fixturing and workholding setups for a variety of jobs.
• Complete machine setups for 1-10 different jobs per week.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers.
• Deburr finished parts to meet quality standards.
• Safely operate an overhead jib crane as part of the machining work cell.
• Maintain quality standards while meeting production deadlines.
• Keep work area clean and follow all company safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC Mill operating and setup experience preferred.
• Experience operating Okuma CNC Mills is highly preferred; experience with other CNC milling equipment is acceptable and transferable.
• Ability to perform machine setups independently.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Experience making programming edits at the machine.
• Strong understanding of fixturing and workholding techniques.
• Proficient with precision measuring equipment, including calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to deburr finished machined parts.
• Experience safely operating an overhead jib crane is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
