Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit with 4 LDR beds, maintaining a 1:1 pitocin ratio and up to 2:1 general patient ratio
• Perform labor and delivery care, recovery, immediate newborn care, and golden hour baby care
• Circulate and assist with C-sections, including PACU C-section recovery
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN electronic documentation systems
• Adhere to patient experience standards including AIDET communication and bedside shift reporting
• Follow scheduling requirements including every other weekend rotation; no floating to other units

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
• Minimum 2+ years of Labor & Delivery hospital or specialty experience
• Current BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications
• Demonstrated experience in labor and delivery, recovery, immediate newborn care, and golden hour baby care
• Ability to circulate C-sections and provide PACU C-section care

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Ability to scrub C-sections
• Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
