Field Service Technician

This position will primarily support generators, HVAC equipment, and related electrical/mechanical systems. You don't have to know everything on day one. We're looking for someone with the right electrical/mechanical aptitude, problem-solving ability, work ethic, and willingness to learn. Training will be provided to help the right person learn the equipment and become successful in the position. Responsibility Service, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair generators, HVAC equipment, and related systems Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues Perform inspections and preventive maintenance Use tools, testing equipment, and technical resources to identify and correct problems Travel to customer locations to complete service ca nells Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment and service eds Complete service documentation accurately and on t time Work independently while maintaining communication with the service and operations ams Follow company safety procedures and service standards Maintain and properly care for company-provided tools, equipment, and vehicle Qualificat ions Military experience involving electrical systems, generators, HVAC, power production, mechanical maintenance, aircraft maintenance, vehicle maintenance, AGE, facilities, engineering, or other hands-on technical career fields may translate well into this opportunity. Required Skill's Skills Strong electrical and/or mechanical apt on experience working with equipment, machinery, electrical systems, HVAC, generators, automotive/diesel equipment, or similar troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability and willingness to learn new equipment and technical processes Comfortable working independently in a field-based enviro Professional communication and customer service Skills Dependable, accountable, and safety-m interval driver's license and clean background required Willingness to travel within the assigned service area Preferred Skills Electricians and candidates with str onger electrical expe rience may qualify toward the higher end of the pay range. Candidates with s trong mechanical ap titude are also encouraged to apply. If you're mechanically inclined, comfortable working with tools and equipment, and have a good understanding of how mechanical systems work, your experience may translate well to this position. Experience troubleshooting, repairing, or mainta ining electrical/mechanical equipment, generators, HVAC systems, automotive equipment, machinery, or similar s ystems is a plus . Pay range and compensation package $26–$37/hour. Compensation will be based on experience and technical background.
