This position is for a faculty role at our organization’s Family Medicine Residency Clinic located at Fort Bragg, NC.

Our facility, named in honor of Medal of Honor recipient PFC Bryant H. Womack, is a fully accredited 110-bed regional medical center and Graduate Medical Education (GME) facility. We serve Fort Bragg, the largest U.S. Army installation globally, known for Airborne and Special Operations. Our organization operates several exceptional Primary Care practice sites in Fort Bragg, Fayetteville, Hope Mills, and Linden Oaks.

Located in Fayetteville, Fort Bragg is just 2 hours from the coast and 5 hours from the Appalachian Mountains, with convenient access to I-95 for travel north and south. This central North Carolina area enjoys pleasant weather throughout the year. Responsibilities

As a Family Practice Physician, your responsibilities will include:

• Oversee, guide, and instruct medical residents and students during their rotations in the Family Medicine Residency Clinic.
• Act as an attending physician, conducting patient examinations, determining the necessity for laboratory tests, x-rays, and other procedures to gather medical information and make diagnoses, while mentoring residents.
• Formulate presumptive diagnoses for more complex or rare conditions and consult with appropriate specialists as needed.
• Supervise medical students, physician assistant students, and nurse practitioner students assigned to the Primary Care Services Division within the Family Medicine Residency Clinic.
• Adhere to the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) standards for residency faculty, including engaging in organized clinical discussions, faculty development, and educational presentations.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Board Certified in Family Medicine
• Possess a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from a recognized institution in the United States or Canada, or hold a comparable degree from a foreign medical school that is substantially equivalent to accredited U.S. schools, as evidenced by permanent certification from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) or a fifth pathway certificate for those who completed premedical education in the U.S. and graduate education abroad.
• Must hold a permanent, full, and unrestricted medical license to practice in a U.S. state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory.
