Business Development Representative

Odyssey Logistics moves freight globally for over 6,000 customers and we're looking for a Business Development Rep who's hungry to build a book of business and get paid for every win. In this role you're on the phone, in the inbox, on LinkedIn, organically hunting mid-market shippers. What you bring:

• 2+ years in freight brokerage, 3PL, or transportation sales.
• Working knowledge of truckload and/or LTL
• CRM chops (Salesforce or similar).
• A hunter mentality with confidence on the phone and in email outreach

Nice to have:

• A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or logistics.
• Existing carrier or shipper relationships you can bring with you.

• Uncapped commission on a sliding scale. The more you close, the more you earn. No ceiling. No regional guardrails.
• Full ownership of the sales cycle: prospect, pitch, close, launch.
• Backed by an established global logistics company with real operational muscle behind your deals; LTL and FTL customer operations as well as a carrier sales team.

What you'll actually do:

• Prospect mid-market shippers by phone, email, Zoominfo, and LinkedIn
• Run discovery calls that uncover new opportunities.
• Build proposals and pricing with our team.
• Manage new accounts through onboarding before handing them off to account management.

LOCATION and SCHEDULE: This position is open to candidates based in the Kennesaw, GA area working onsite (remote on Friday's) or candidates located in the Chattanooga, TN area working remotely with the expectation of transitioning to an onsite schedule as we expand our presence in the region.
