Supervisor, Quality Engineer

Supervisor, Quality Engineer Location: Foley, AL (US-AL-FOLEY-1300 ~ 1300 W Fern Ave, OEM BLDG). Onsite with relocation assistance available. Salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD. What You Will Do Supervise a team of Quality Control Inspectors. Set day‑to‑day goals and objectives for team members and support Real Time Problem Resolution (RTPR). Qualify and obtain a Quality Inspection stamp AS02 per Collins procedure EEP 1009. Participate in RCCA and the 8D methodology. Explain policies, practices and procedures related to Quality. Support Inspection department in properly documenting Non‑Conforming Product Reports (IPU, QN). Ensure Quality Cardinal Rules Compliance. Support the Material Review Board (MRB) and Non‑Conforming material management process; qualify as MRB PR and QA. Support audits to the Quality Management System (QMS) based on Aerospace industry (AS9100, EASA, FAA). Support Foreign Object Damage (FOD) eradication programs. Interpret data from applicable inspection tools or equipment. Support production in regards to all quality aspects. Perform other duties related to quality compliance. Qualifications University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 years in quality assurance and/or control in a manufacturing environment. Specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices. Knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS) based on Aerospace industry (AS9100, EASA, FAA). Experience in APQP/PPAP. Experience in Aerospace industry preferred. Curiosity with a bias for action, detail oriented, and attention to accuracy. Ability to multitask and adapt to changing work environment. Lead people and manage teams; strong interpersonal skills. Intermediate/advanced computer skills using MS Office products. Customer oriented, understanding of internal and external customer needs. Self‑motivated with strong problem‑solving skills. Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to deliver presentations effectively. Project management skills.
