Our Finance Practice Group As a co‑chair of the Finance Practice Group and hiring partner for this position, Dario Avram states “associates in the Finance group have the opportunity to work on complex and fast‑paced financing transactions, together with a diverse group of smart and collaborative colleagues.” Learn more about the team and the work you can do at Who You Are You have 3‑6 years of law firm experience, primarily representing banks, other institutional lenders and borrowers in secured lending transactions. Preference is given to candidates with specific experience in leveraged lending, syndicated lending and sponsor finance. You have demonstrated experience with leveraged finance, although candidates with other commercial lending experience will be considered. You are skilled in drafting, editing, and reviewing loan documents, including loan agreements, security documentation, intercreditor agreements, commitment papers and closing documentation. You are proactive, with a strong business sense and the ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships. You can communicate complex matters clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, and are committed to delivering excellent client service. You have a strong work ethic, team player attitude, and an action‑oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility for transactions. You demonstrate high initiative, strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrable client relationship skills. You are admitted to the state bar in which you are practicing or are eligible to waive in.
