Compensation: $90,000–$105,000, based on experience Employer-provided health insurance (self-only coverage) CPA study support package to help you earn or complete your license Hybrid flexibility once you're trained and up to speed A clear path to direct client relationships — you'll grow into owning a book of your own, not stay behind the work Real breadth, early — individual, business, trust, estate, nonprofit, and 401(k) plan audit clients Hands-on coaching from CPAs invested in your growth An "Others First" culture built on Responsiveness, Care, and Diligence As a Senior Tax Advisor, you'll take on the firm's moderately complex returns and begin stepping into review — the first move from doing the work to being trusted with others' work. You'll coach and mentor Associates, contribute to tax and consulting engagements, and sharpen your instinct for what clients actually need. It's a role for someone who's proven the fundamentals and is ready to grow into leadership. Return preparation — moderately complex individual, business, and trust returns, to a review-ready standard Review (developing) — begin assisting in the review of filings, learning to catch what's missed and hold the quality bar Client relationships - Lead tax planning meetings and advisory conversations. Translate complex strategies into language clients actually understand Coaching & mentorship — help develop Associates and strengthen the whole team's work Engagements & client needs — participate in tax and consulting engagements, sharpening how you identify and address client needs Information gathering — work with clients and their advisors to get what's needed, chasing open items politely and persistently Delivering under deadline — thrive in a fast-paced environment, independently and as part of a team Relationship building — build new relationships with professionals inside and outside the firm A CPA, or an advisor actively on the CPA path, with experience across individual, business, and trust returns Solid technical judgment and readiness to start reviewing others' work A collaborative, "Others First" instinct — someone who makes the people around them better Comfort under deadlines, on your own and within a team HOW YOU'LL GROW Senior Tax Advisor → Manager (CPA), for those who want to lead engagements, people, and the practice Breadth most firms can't offer, with the coaching and autonomy to grow into leadership We support the CPA path directly — study support and real experience across our full practice For nearly five decades, Ellingson CPAs has been built on a simple belief: an others first approach is the only way to run a business.
