Salesforce Automation EngineerThe Salesforce Automation Engineer is a highly technical and strategic role within our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, business analysts, developers, and subject matter experts, to analyze and understand their needs. Using your expertise in Salesforce, you will then design and implement custom testing strategies, workflows, and integrations that streamline business processes and enhance user experience. Your primary focus will be on leveraging Salesforce's powerful platform to automate repetitive tasks, improve data integrity, and drive business insights. You will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing Salesforce solutions to ensure they continue to meet evolving business requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze business requirements and translate them into Salesforce-based solutionsDesign, develop, and implement custom Salesforce test applications, workflows, and integrationsSupport agile scrum teams in the test script development and execution of system and end-to-end testing for Salesforce based applications.Automate business processes and data management to improve efficiency and productivityTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce functionality, data, and integrationsProvide training and documentation to end-users on Salesforce features and capabilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Salesforce solutions meet evolving business needsStay up to date with Salesforce platform updates and enhancements to identify optimization opportunitiesGather feedback and close any gaps found on these requirements and specifications.Occasionally work with UX/UI/dev leads/PMs to divide and plan the project into sprints and explain the projects to developers and designers.Creation and execution of QA test plans/scripts and review user interfaces for conformity and functionalityHelp create a culture that motivates teams to ensure zero defects leak into productionPartner with DevOps engineers to fully automate testing throughout the release & delivery processes in the CI/CD pipeline.Collaborate with the Center of Excellence architect and developers to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes.Perform usability testing to ensure user interface designs meet user needs.Document and track defects and participate in defect triage meetings.Foster a collaborative and positive team environment where empathy for and responsiveness to business stakeholders is key.Perform other duties, as needed.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Consultant, Tester, Administrator, or DeveloperProficient in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and other Salesforce-specific programming languagesGreat organizational, analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills, plus solid problem solving and time management skillsStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to deliver effective solutions. Experience in troubleshooting issues and root cause analysis.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teamsCertified Salesforce Administrator and/or Developer certification is preferredMust have- Regression testing (Web-based and Client Server enterprise Applications) Experience with continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI/CD) supporting technologies (GIT, GitLab, Docker, etc.)Agile Experience
