Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments of clients' mental and emotional health to identify challenges and strengths.

• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, client goals, and therapeutic evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions that address a myriad of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and trauma.

• Lead couples therapy sessions focusing on improving communication, resolving conflicts, and building stronger relationships through structured methodologies.

• Regularly monitor, evaluate, and adjust treatment plans to reflect ongoing progress and changing client needs.

• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, including progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.

• Provide crisis intervention and timely support to clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies.
\n
• Engage actively in continuous professional development, staying current with best practices, new research, and tools in the field of marriage and family therapy.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and provide a holistic approach to care by advocating for clients' rights and well-being.

• Encourage and model self-care practices, both for clients and for your own well-being, to prevent burnout and promote resilience.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will encompass a diverse range of clients, including adolescents grappling with identity and peer issues, adults navigating life transitions, couples seeking to enhance their marital satisfaction, and families facing communication barriers. By providing tailored support and utilizing various therapeutic techniques, you will play a crucial role in fostering positive mental health outcomes and strengthening relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.

• An active LMFT license issued by the State Board is essential for this position.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
