First Databank (FDB) is currently seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join the [Department] team . The Clinical Pharmacist will work independently under the broad supervision of a team lead, supervisor or manager. The role will require researching source pharmaceutical information, making detailed observations, analyzing source content and interpreting results for possible inclusion within knowledge base content.

The Clinical Pharmacist will be responsible for directing and performing data entry tasks and verifying data entry performed by team members. The role requires someone who can independently plan and prioritize work and reliably complete assigned tasks associated with special projects that are unrelated to day-to-day routine work.

This position will be based in [Location] and follows a hybrid work model, with an expectation to work on-site at least three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Research source pharmaceutical information, make detailed observations, analyze clinical evidence and interpret results for possible inclusion within MedKnowledge base content in a manner consistent with stated Editorial/DSG policies.
• Direct and perform data entry tasks and verify data entry performed by other team members.
• Independently plan and prioritize assigned work. Ensure work meets or exceeds stated product maintenance standards.
• Review drug information inheritance through knowledge base drug group rules using daily Apollo reports.
• Manage and respond to internal post-production data audit reports.
• Review daily data change reports and take action to resolve inconsistencies.
• Develop an understanding of the risks and advantages of key Apollo system forms.
• Actively contribute to process and quality improvement efforts.
• Provide in-service training and presentations to group members.
• Bring challenging or controversial clinical issues to the team for discussion.
• Begin fielding customer questions using basic data analytics skills to identify issues and deliver possible solutions, working with a manager as needed.
• Respond knowledgeably and diplomatically to a variety of customer inquiries through Salesforce.
• Review assigned data audits and reports daily.
• Identify opportunities for workflow improvement, automation and operational efficiencies within editorial and data maintenance processes.
• Support the adoption and responsible use of emerging technologies, including AI-assisted tools and system enhancements, to improve productivity, consistency and quality outcomes.

Required Skills

• Ability to follow work procedures and meet applicable deadlines, accuracy and productivity standards.
• Knowledge of or ability to become proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Ability to become proficient in OnBase, Salesforce and Microsoft Teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment, taking primary responsibility for supported content initially with direct supervision from management.
• Ability to work with preceptors to help pharmacy interns complete projects.
• Familiarity with editorial policies, maintenance and applications.
• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn and adapt to evolving systems, technologies and workflow tools.
• Curiosity and willingness to explore innovative approaches, including automation and AI-assisted solutions, to improve editorial efficiency and data quality.
• Ability to identify workflow inefficiencies and collaborate with management and team members on process improvement and transformation initiatives.
• Analytical thinking and comfort working with structured data, reports, system outputs and technology-driven workflows.
• Experience with or interest in artificial intelligence, automation tools, data analysis or workflow optimization is highly desirable.

Required Experience

• One year of recent experience in a clinical pharmacy, pharmacy informatics, medication data management, health care technology or related pharmacy setting with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Candidates must be actively registered as a pharmacist in at least one state.
• Experience supporting clinical systems, workflow optimization, health care databases or technology-enabled pharmacy processes is highly desirable.
• Pharmacy informatics experience, informatics training, health care technology experience or board certification related to informatics or clinical specialties is desirable but not required.

Compensation

The base salary range below represents the Company's good-faith estimate for this position in the posted work location at the time of posting.

A final decision on the successful candidate's starting salary will be based on a number of permissible, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to skills and experience, training, certifications, education, geographic location and market considerations.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is:

$100,000—$120,000 USD
