Mission Working with the VP, Legal & Business Affairs, the General Counsel, and other Legal and Licensing Department staff, you would be responsible for managing and executing all Entertainment and In-licensing contracts, monitoring communications in this practice area, and maintaining appropriate records accordingly. Key Result Areas Time Utilization: Manage and support in-licensing, entertainment, and related agreements to achieve defined timelines and efficiency goals. Maintain and update trackers for status of negotiations and contracts. (Percent allocations may vary by project; see detailed duties below.) Responsibilities Licensing : Collaborate with the VP, Legal & Business Affairs attorney and licensing team on in-licensing agreement negotiations from deal memo to execution. Maintain and update a detailed tracker for status of all in-licensing deal negotiations. Entertainment : Draft, review, and manage the signature process for all entertainment agreements. Marketing / Social Media : Draft, review, and oversee execution for marketing agreements, social media vendor agreements, creator agreements, and other related agreements. Administrative Support : Provide paralegal and administrative support to the General Counsel including research, correspondence, document organization, and corporate record-keeping. Other Transactions : Provide various transactional support as needed. Position Requirements Education/Experience: 4-year college degree (preferred) Paralegal Certification 8+ years of experience as a paralegal with entertainment and/or licensing experience, either in-house or at a law firm Ability to prioritize and manage multiple ongoing matters in a fast-paced environment Skills/Knowledge/Ability: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Highly organized, flexible, and multi-task oriented Motivated self-starter who can work independently Ability to exercise good judgment and make decisions Professional communication skills, including the ability to maintain confidentiality Authority Reports to the Vice President of Legal Affairs Key Activities Licensing: Review, draft, negotiate, and execute MGA in-licensing agreements, amendments, and renewals for in-licensing deals and artist collaborations. Maintain trackers for status and contract changes. Include letters such as customs letters and trademark authorizations where applicable. Licensing : Maintain and update trackers for status of negotiations, extensions, renewals, and expirations; manage related communications. Entertainment : Draft, review, and oversee execution for entertainment agreements (content distribution, production services, talent, rights). Marketing / Social Media : Draft, review, and oversee execution for marketing and related agreements. Generalist Duties: Accept various administrative tasks as a key member of a lean, busy team serving a wide array of multinational issues. #J-18808-Ljbffr
