Full-Stack Software Engineer (React/Vue Focus) Columbia, MD | Full Time | TS/SCI with Polygraph Required Position: Full-Stack Software Engineer Location: Columbia, MD (on-site) Category: Software Engineering / Full Stack Development Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Experience Requirement: 12+ years with a Bachelor’s degree, OR 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree Description We are seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer with a strong frontend focus to support a fast-moving engineering team developing modern user interfaces within a microservices-based ecosystem. This role emphasizes UI development while working closely with backend services to deliver seamless, high-performance applications. You will operate in a highly collaborative environment where engineers contribute to system design, interact directly with end users, and help shape product direction. This position requires strong frontend expertise, problem-solving ability, and the confidence to work closely with stakeholders to deliver impactful features in a dynamic setting. Responsibilities Develop and maintain web applications that integrate with Java-based microservices Collaborate with technical leadership on system design decisions and product roadmap Solve complex software engineering and UI/UX design challenges Work directly with stakeholders to resolve issues and propose new features Support testing, deployment, and maintenance of production applications Contribute to a collaborative, feature-driven development environment Skills Requirements Experience designing, debugging, and solving problems using JavaScript or TypeScript Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar Experience building RESTful web applications Experience working with MongoDB or similar database technologies Experience with automated testing practices Nice to Haves Full-stack development experience with Java or other JVM-based languages Experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems Linux administration experience Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated build tools Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code) Strong written and verbal communication skills Compensation & Employment Policy Salary is determined by multiple factors, including location, education, experience, skills, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $200,000 – $250,000 (annualized USD).
