Relationship Manager (Enterprise Retirement Services)Department: Enterprise Retirement ServicesLocation: Edina, MNSalary Range: $125,000 to $150,000 DOEFirst International Bank & Trust is seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to join our Enterprise Retirement Services team. This role serves as a trusted advisor to retirement plan clients, primarily ESOP relationships, by providing strategic guidance, responsive service, and relationship management.The ideal candidate brings experience in financial services, retirement services, employee benefits, or a related industry and thrives in a client-focused environment. This is an opportunity to manage key relationships, identify growth opportunities, and support clients and the communities we serve.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of retirement plan clients, providing service, support, and strategic guidance.Support retirement plan and ESOP client relationships by coordinating service needs, facilitating plan reviews, responding to inquiries, and partnering with internal specialists.Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, prospective clients, business partners, and centers of influence.Identify opportunities to expand relationships and connect clients with additional products and services offered through First International Bank & Trust.Coordinate account onboarding activities, documentation preparation, and implementation support.Prepare for and participate in client and retirement plan review meetings, providing recommendations and ongoing support.Collaborate with Retirement Specialists and internal partners to deliver a seamless client experience.Support business development through networking, relationship building, and community engagement.Stay current on industry trends, regulatory developments, and retirement plan best practices through ongoing professional development.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Approximately 5-7 years of client relationship management experience within retirement services, financial services, employee benefits, wealth management, consulting, or a related industry preferred.Experience managing retirement plan, employee benefit plan, ESOP, or institutional client relationships preferred.Demonstrated success managing and growing client relationships through consultative service and solutions.Strong business development, networking, and relationship-building skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities while providing exceptional service to a diverse client portfolio.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business technology platforms.Retirement industry certifications, retirement plan experience, or advanced financial services experience preferred.First International Bank and Trust is a family-owned full-service Community Bank with locations in ND, MN, SD, and AZ.We show our employees we care by providing competitive benefits and training and growth opportunities.
