Ticket Operations RepresentativeThe Ticket Operations Representative is responsible for executing best practices as outlined by the Senior Ticket Operations Representative. The ideal candidate will understand the sales process and have a desire to begin a career in operations. The Ticket Operations Representative will work with various departments within the venue as well as external event promoters for 3rd party events/concerts. They will be responsible for assisting with Ticket Operations departmental needs such as ticket resolution, fulfillment, game-day/event support, as well as acting as a liaison between external and internal customers in a positive and professional manner.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Process tasks/orders using the venue's designated ticketing software, AXSWork with ticketing team to process season ticket orders, partial plan orders, group orders and premium ticket orders using established procedures and formsAssist with developing and maintaining relationships with event promotersAssist department with building offers and price codes as directed for Rockets, Comets and 3rd party eventsRun ticket reports as neededPerform ticket selling functions when neededProvide support during Rockets, Comets games and third-party eventsAssist in the supervision of arena ticket sales and box office windowsProvide exemplary service to all guests, clients, promoters; internally and externallyMaintain and develop ticket operations department policies and procedures as neededAssist ticket operations department with additional tasks/duties as requestedDemonstrates our One Team philosophy of Passion, Accountability, Customer Focus, and TeamworkMinimum QualificationsMinimum qualifications include:High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or degree preferredKnowledge of computerized ticketing systems preferredPrevious box office/ticket operations experience preferredMust be available to work game days, events, and extended hours for special projects as neededExcellent computer skills to include proficiency in Word, Excel, and OutlookMust be extremely flexible with the ability to handle high levels of stressMust be multi-task oriented with great attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skills with pleasant phone etiquetteAble to adapt to a team player environmentEnthusiastic, creative, and able to think both strategically and tacticallyExperience in appropriately working with and around confidential informationA self-starterCash handling experience preferredPhysical & Mental RequirementsPhysical and mental requirements include:The employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, use handle or feel, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, communicate with othersThe vision requirement includes the ability to review written and electronic materials in both digital and physical formatThe employee must be able to transfer and move items for departmental needsThe employee must be able to adjust to changing work hours and locations as needed in light of the strong focus on external communications and relationships
