This role operates within a hybrid environment and is responsible for requirements elicitation, process mapping, user story development, and supporting Agile delivery. The position requires experience working directly with business stakeholders in a mission-driven environment.Program Overview The program supports public health data modernization initiatives to improve analytics capabilities for government health agencies.Key Details Location: Atlanta, GA / Hybrid Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determinationResponsibilitiesPartner with business stakeholders, Product Owners, developers, and testers to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.Lead requirements gathering activities through stakeholder interviews, process analysis, use case development, and workflow analysis.Develop and maintain business, functional, and non-functional requirements, including system touchpoints, reporting, dashboards, data, and workflows.Translate business needs into user stories, technical specifications, acceptance criteria, and business rules for development teams.Manage requirements and backlog artifacts using Agile tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.Document current and future state business processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for automation or process improvement.Support User Acceptance Testing by developing plans, facilitating testing sessions, documenting results, and validating solutions for deployment.Conduct qualitative analysis and provide strategic recommendations for system and process enhancements.Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure clear understanding of requirements throughout development cycles.Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure solutions meet stakeholder expectations and program objectives.What You Bring3+ years of Business Analyst experience working directly with business users.Proficiency in developing user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and requirement documentation.Experience supporting UAT activities, including test plan and script development.Strong familiarity with Agile principles, ceremonies, backlog management, and requirements tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.Ability to perform requirements elicitation using various techniques, including interviews and process analysis.Experience documenting as-is and to-be business processes and process flows.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work on-site in Atlanta, GA.Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.Bachelor's degree required.Nice to HaveExperience supporting public health, healthcare, or federal analytics programs.Knowledge of Palantir Foundry or related data technologies.Supporting data, reporting, or dashboard initiatives.Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile certifications.Compensation Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $93,000.00 (based on experience and certifications)Blu Omega Benefits & Perks Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage through national providers 401(k) with company match (eligible after 6 months; vesting applies) Company-paid Life and AD&D insurance with voluntary options Short-term and long-term disability plans Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with 24/7 confidential support Telehealth and virtual care options Pet insurance, legal services, and identity theft protection options Paid Time Off (PTO) and federal holidays Access to wellness programs, discounts, and lifestyle benefitsCompany Overview Blu Omega is a Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) delivering technology and cybersecurity solutions to federal agencies and enterprise clients nationwide.
