• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,603 - $1,781
• Location: Towson, MD 21204 (Baltimore area)
• Contract Duration: 9 weeks
• Start Date: June 23, 2026
• Shift: 12 Hour Nights
• Shifts per Week: 3
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Local, On-Site Contract RN position

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required (Med/Surg Tele RN)
• Minimum 2 years of stroke nursing experience; experience as a stroke nurse preferred
• Current, active RN license in Maryland
• BLS certification (AHA)
• EKG proficiency and telemetry monitoring experience
• mRS and NIHSS certifications (required for stroke assessment)

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care on a medical-surgical telemetry unit as a Telemetry RN
• Continuously monitor and accurately interpret EKGs and telemetry data
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for stroke patients using NIHSS and mRS tools
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses clearly and efficiently in the medical record
• Deliver patient and family education focused on recovery, secondary prevention, and discharge planning
