Customs Trade Coordinator

Responsibilities Coordinate documentation required by US Customs/Government agencies for entry of goods into the US on behalf of importers. Provide impeccable customer service. Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release using databases, SOPs, tariff books, internet or customs resources. Perform data entry and processing of various import‑related documentation for submission to US Customs and handle participating government agencies (PGA). Maintain and keep current shipment documentation in compliance with all record‑keeping requirements. Adhere to all international importing and exporting regulations. Collaborate with internal staff, departments, FedEx operations, and customers to deliver a high level of service. Process agency brokerage shipments and remote filings. Ensure compliance with all government and organizational policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Complete paid training provided. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 6 months work experience preferred. Minimum one year of experience using computer systems in a professional, educational, or comparable environment, including routine tasks such as data entry, document creation, navigation of standard software applications, and operation of basic office equipment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and interpersonal skills, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to handle high‑volume, time‑sensitive tasks; work independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency in using multiple systems and reference material; ability to interact with customers, carriers, brokers, government agencies, internal staff, management at all levels, and internal departments. Preferred Qualifications Experience meeting production requirements and utilizing a computer for data entry, document creation, and navigation of software applications and websites. Experience working in a fast‑paced environment with strong time management and attention to detail. Pay and Shift Pay: $22.64 per hour. Shift: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday.
