Boots to Business General Contracting is seeking a dependable Painter / Handyman who enjoys painting but also wants to expand into multiple construction trades. This position is perfect for someone with solid painting experience who wants to learn drywall, carpentry, remodeling, cabinet installation, property maintenance, and general construction while working alongside experienced technicians. Job Responsibilities Primary duties include: Interior painting Exterior painting Surface preparation Drywall patching Texture matching Caulking Minor trim installation Cabinet touch-up and minor repairs Apartment unit turns Property maintenance work orders General handyman repairs Material pickup Jobsite cleanup Training Opportunities The right candidate will receive hands-on training in: Drywall finishing Carpentry Cabinet installation Flooring Remodeling Property maintenance General construction techniques Qualifications Required: Painting experience Reliable transportation Valid driver's license Own basic hand tools Strong work ethic Ability to work independently Willingness to learn additional construction trades Ability to lift 50+ pounds Ability to lift 50+ pounds Preferred: Drywall repair experience Apartment maintenance experience Handyman experience Military background Schedule Monday through Saturday Saturdays optional Flexible schedule Approximately 2–3 days per week to start Opportunity for full-time employment as company workload grows Compensation & Benefits $23.00–$26.00 per hour DOE Washington Paid Sick Leave Medical benefits planned as the company continues to grow Advancement opportunities into Construction Technician positions Paid training in multiple construction trades Company Expectations Wear company-branded shirt or vest while working on customer properties Maintain a clean and professional appearance Work safely and follow company policies Take pride in quality workmanship Treat customers respectfully Be dependable and punctual Why Work With Us?
