Membership Specialist, Leadership Development

Position Summary Reporting to the Managing Director, Leadership Development, the Membership Specialist is a key member of the Leadership Development team. The Membership Specialist will schedule member calls; develop utilization tracking and outcomes processes and metrics, and update member‑specific and organization‑specific reporting; collaborate with the Account Management team; and assist with other day‑to‑day team operations. Primary Job Duties Develop and update member- and organization-level outcomes and utilization reporting for the fellowship programs; make recommendations to MD about recruitment opportunities Proactively schedule and prepare the MD for upcoming calls with member organizations Liaise with the Account Management team and Leadership Development sellers to coordinate outreach, communications cascades, and recruitment efforts With the Managing Director, work with the Account Management team to execute the renewal strategy, and manage reporting to support growth goals Assist with member recruitment for THMA events, ensuring a high‑touch experience through proactive outreach, coordination, and support Orchestrate end‑to‑end preparation and fulfillment of member resources, including production of action project materials and coordination of graduation collateral, ensuring timely delivery, quality control, and a polished, high‑impact member experience Refresh and continuously update member‑facing materials to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with evolving program priorities and member needs Draft, review, and manage EIR and speaker contracts for high‑touchpoint engagements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational and legal standards Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree required 3-4 years of experience in a customer‑focused role Experience working with stakeholders, preferably C‑Suite executives Background in sales or account management a plus Interest in health policy Interpersonal Skills & Attributes Customer‑oriented with excellent communication skills Attention to detail Ability to work independently and as a team member Self‑directed and resourceful Excellent organizational skills Able to manage upward and hold peers and leaders accountable Aptitude for building and monitoring operations and processes Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
