Automotive Technician

Independently family-owned company founded in 1990 has an immediate opening for an experienced Automotive Technician. We are a multi-unit Tire & Auto Service retailer dedicated to providing quality service with a unique customer experience that exceeds the expectations of a traditional garage. The Automotive Technician is committed to providing the highest quality of repairs and service necessary to satisfy the customer. They should be ambitious, hard-working, and work well in a team environment. You'll be provided with the opportunity to be a part of one of the fastest-growing companies in metro Detroit.

What you'll do:

• Diagnostics using state-of-the-art technology
• Performs vehicle repairs (Engine Repair, Drive Train/Axles, Suspension/Steering, Brakes, Electrical, Heating/Air Conditioning, and Engine Performance).
• Communicate diagnosis and needed repairs as required
• Maintains an organized and safe work environment
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of automotive repair experience with emphasis on under-car repairs, braking systems, and alignments
• State of Michigan Mechanic Certifications or ASE Certifications
• Valid Driver's License

Compensation: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
