Job Description

Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine physician to join its dynamic Emergency Department team in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a busy, well-supported community emergency department with flexible employment models, strong coverage, and competitive compensation.

Emergency Department Highlights

• Annual Emergency Department volume of approximately 40,000 visits
• Level III Trauma Center
• 32-bed Emergency Department
• Physician coverage: 36 hours per day (12-hour shifts)
• Advanced Practice Provider coverage: 36 hours per day (12-hour shifts)
• PRN shifts available

Compensation Options

• W-2 employment with full benefits
• 1099 independent contractor option
• 10 shifts per month (12-hour shifts)
• Competitive hourly rates:
  • $294/hour (day shifts – W2)
  • $304/hour (evening shifts – W2)
  • $325/hour (day shifts – 1099)
  • $335/hour (evening shifts – 1099)
• Commencement bonus option up to $75,000 over 3 years
