Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $1,871 per week

Job Overview TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU – Intensive Care Unit position in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Job Details Specialty: ICU – Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/06/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities As an ICU Travel Nurse, you will be responsible for evaluating and monitoring patients in an Intensive Care Unit setting. You will document and provide physician‑directed care, assess and implement patient care plans, delegate to other care providers as appropriate, and provide education and support to patient families. Provide basic bedside care. Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment. Order and evaluate diagnostic tests. Take samples for lab work, order corresponding lab work and interpret reports. Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, and interpret and record electronic displays. Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads and tubing. Communicate patient conditions to family members. Physical Demands ICU Travel Nurses must be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean and stoop without difficulty, and lift up to 20 pounds regularly. Occasionally, lifting patients up to 50 pounds may be required. Nurses may encounter hazards from exposure to chemicals or infectious diseases and must be prepared to manage patients who may be confused, agitated or uncooperative. Qualifications Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, with at least 3 years of recent acute care experience. Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
