Job Description Schedule - Monday - Friday (4:00pm - 12:30am) Job Purpose: Position will report to the Co-Pack/Retail Fulfillment Manager. Responsibilities Manage any staff assigned to shift including employee performance reviews and any disciplinary actions. Supervise all computer entry work and all paperwork flow. Assign work assignments for all warehouse staffing, keeping in mind customer specifications. Monitor the quality and accuracy of all shipments according to customer specifications. Ensure that the department staff meets each customer’s requirements, updating any changes and training staff accordingly. Communicate with customers and respond to inquiries as needed, implementing required actions. Ensure safety, training, and development of employees, drivers, and contractors per OSHA and RJW policies. Oversee completion of all computer data entry, checking for accuracy and efficiency. Assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures. Maintain and approve all shift employee timesheets for weekly payroll, including temporary hours and necessary corrections. Monitor overtime hours to meet department requirements. Complete daily building checks, notifying the Co-Pack manager of equipment or building problems and preventive maintenance needs. Ensure that warehouse employees adhere to all AIB processes, procedures, and guidelines, and that they have received AIB food handling training. Ensure all checklists for building, equipment, and safety are completed as designated by SOP or policy. Issue corrective action or work orders to address any issues. Ensure proper procedures for accident reporting, care of injured employees, and notification of HR and management for emergencies. Perform assigned tasks or other duties as instructed by the Co-Pack manager. Qualifications Minimum 1–2 years of related experience or training in co-pack and 2 years in a warehouse environment. Experience using WMS software (Synapse preferred). PC literate with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access Database. Associate’s degree or 6+ years of supervisory/management experience (references required). Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Physical ability to count articles or products on shelves, racks, and pallets. Language Skills Proficient in English for reading, writing, speaking, and analyzing business documents and technical procedures. Mathematical Skills Capable of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure; computing rates, ratios, percentages, and interpreting bar graphs. Reasoning Ability Skilled at solving practical problems, interpreting instructions, determining root causes, and implementing corrective action. Computer Skills Knowledge of business operating systems, internet software, word processing, and spreadsheet software; familiarity with labeling software (NiceLabel, Bartender) is a plus. Physical Demands Occasional lifting or moving up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to activate phone systems using keyboards and buttons. Articulate and comfortable speaking in front of others. Practice in an indoor office environment with repetitive hand motions. Ability to work over 8 continuous hours when required and under stressful conditions. Maintain accuracy while handling multiple tasks. 20/20 corrected vision. Sound physical health as determined by a licensed physician, with no evidence of controlled substances use. Work Environment Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles. Noise level ranges from quiet to moderately loud. Pay Range Estimated pay range: $65,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year. The actual pay rate will depend on qualifications and experience.
