CT Technologist Days – Join our team at HCA Florida South Shore Hospital. Sign‑on bonus of $10,000 available for qualified candidates. Job Summary As a CT Technologist, you will perform diagnostic CT examinations, manage contrast administration, and support patient care on a Thursday‑Saturday schedule from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm. On‑call and call‑back responsibilities may be required to ensure optimal patient service. Responsibilities Select appropriate technical factors for each study and perform accurate, compassionate CT examinations. Demonstrate thorough operational knowledge of the CT scanner, pressure injector, resuscitation equipment, laser filmer, and teleradiology system. Assist with the administration of contrast media and related procedures. Position, transfer, and prepare patients securely and with modesty, using auxiliary equipment as needed. Document clinical information, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields in MEDITECH accurately and on time. Capture high‑quality images, ensuring only optimal studies are submitted for interpretation. Maintain proficiency with software protocols and stay current through in‑service training, courses, or seminars. Communicate proactively with patients, radiologists, and other caregiving colleagues. Check equipment operation, maintain cleanliness, and keep the room stocked with linens and supplies to prevent contamination. Accept on‑call and call‑back duties as needed to provide optimum patient care. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalency plus college/technical training. Valid ARRT (CT) certification. Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Ability to perform work requiring frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and/or lifting of patients or equipment up to 100 lbs. Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a CT Technologist, preferably in an acute‑care hospital setting.
