Job Description
The Specimen Processor will play a vital role within a lab environment, responsible for the accurate handling and preparation of specimens for analysis. Reporting to the Senior Technician, this position operates during day shift hours to ensure smooth specimen workflow and laboratory efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Collect specimens according to established protocols
- Label specimens accurately to maintain traceability
- Prepare samples for testing in a timely manner
- Maintain specimen integrity and follow safety procedures
- Collaborate with lab personnel to prioritize specimen processing
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in specimen processing
