Senior Tax Client Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Tax Client Manager who is ready to move beyond tax compliance and become a trusted advisor to clients.

This is a client-facing advisory role for a tax professional who enjoys building relationships, leading tax planning conversations, and helping individuals and business owners make smarter financial decisions.

\n

\n

You will manage a portfolio of clients, serve as their primary point of contact, and deliver proactive tax strategies throughout the year, not just during tax season.

What You'll Do

\n

Client Advisory & Tax Planning

\n

\n
• Lead proactive tax planning conversations with individuals, business owners, and closely held entities
\n
• Identify tax-saving opportunities and develop strategies tailored to each client's financial goals
\n
• Review financial information and tax returns to uncover planning opportunities throughout the year
\n
• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns, including 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120S
\n
• Provide clear guidance and recommendations clients can act on
\n

Client Relationship Management

\n

\n
• Manage a dedicated portfolio of clients as their trusted tax advisor
\n
• Build long-term relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service
\n
• Lead client meetings and explain tax strategies with confidence and professionalism
\n
• Identify opportunities to expand advisory relationships and deliver additional value
\n

Collaboration & Firm Growth

• Partner with firm leadership and team members on complex client engagements
\n
• Maintain high-quality standards for documentation, accuracy, and client service
\n
• Work effectively in a fully remote, technology-driven environment
\n

What You'll Bring

\n

\n
• 7+ years of experience in public accounting tax preparation and review
\n
• CPA preferred
\n
• Experience preparing and reviewing U.S. individual and business tax returns, including Form 1040 (high-net-worth individuals/business owners), 1065, 1120, and 1120S.
\n
• Strong understanding of tax planning strategies and tax law
\n
• Experience working directly with clients and leading advisory conversations
\n
• Ability to manage multiple client relationships and deadlines independently
\n
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly
\n
• High attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional client service
