We are 900+ people strong and growing!# **Essential Duties And Responsibilities**Within a team environment, this position will perform the following responsibilities:* **(75%) Using established communication protocols and professional standards, assess behavioral concerns and act as a consultative resource and guide for family childcare providers in incorporating Trauma-Informed Care*** **(10%) Strengthen and support effective program implementation by collaborating with internal and external entities*** **Emergency Child Care Program Team*** **(10%) Serve as a Trauma-Informed Care and program subject matter expert when participating in all relevant meetings and advance expertise through trainings*** **(5%) Adhere to all legal, ethical and contractual requirements regarding child welfare, confidentiality and record keeping*** **CA mandated reporting laws (child, elder and dependent adult abuse/neglect)****For a full overview of position requirements, please review the TIC Consultant job flyer.**# **Job Specifications****Minimum Required*** **Education:** Bachelor’s degree required in related fields of early childhood education, social work, or psychology* **Experience****:** Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience of working with children and families, specifically children ages birth to 5; Knowledge of trauma informed care, health issues of foster children, appropriate practices, effective teaching strategies, regulations, Community Care Licensing requirements, and DCFS* **Bilingual Required**: Ability to converse, read, write and/or translate in English and Spanish* **Travel:** This position requires 25% of travel. Will consist of travel to and from agency locations, within the community and regional external clients for trainings. Staff members driving on behalf of CCRC may choose to drive a CCRC vehicle or own vehicle and must meet requirements to be an approved driver including holding and maintaining current auto insurance, current California Driver’s License and DMV clearance required.* **Work Schedule**: Full time, typically M-F, ability to at times work a non-traditional work schedule including early mornings, late evenings and weekends.* **Work environment:** Field -based. Mixture of working in an office work environment, remote work and working directly with the community* **Background & Health Clearance Requirements:** + **Background & Health Clearance Requirements**: Background requirements determined according to the requirements of the program(s) which the position will be supporting. + Background check required. As a grant-funded Agency supporting Children and Family Services, CCRC conducts background checks commensurate with the role to verify candidate qualifications (criminal history, employment history / experience, education, reference checks) and ensure grant compliance.
