HR Innovation Manager

This position is eligible to telework up to one day a week, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

Under the general direction of the Supervisor II, the HR Innovation Manager drives digital transformation, modernizes talent strategies, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement within the organization. Responsibilities include managing human resources information systems, providing technical expertise and oversight in the development and implementation of business improvement, and optimizing the employee experience through data-driven initiatives.

This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment and once per year.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship by the start date of employment. The Department of General Services does not participate in E-Verify for employment authorization purposes.
