Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Fit To Stretch, you will work in a vibrant outpatient orthopedic clinic setting from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The clinic boasts modern facilities and a supportive atmosphere, fostering both effective patient interactions and professional growth. You will engage directly with patients, collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess their physical condition and pinpoint areas that require attention.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on the unique needs and goals of each patient, utilizing techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modality interventions.
• Deliver hands-on therapy sessions, continuously monitoring and adjusting treatment methodologies based on patient progress.
• Educate patients on recovery processes, providing guidance on exercises to perform at home and injury prevention strategies to promote long-term health.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Engage in case management discussions with fellow healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Participate in in-service training and team meetings to enhance knowledge and share insights with colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic conditions such as post-operative rehabilitations, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. You will work with a diverse clientele, including athletes from various sports to seniors seeking to enhance mobility and reduce pain. Understanding their unique histories and treatment goals will be central to your work.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Active Nevada PT license or eligibility to obtain one.
• A strong commitment to patient-centered care is essential, with the ability to connect and build rapport with patients from a variety of backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• While a minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedics is preferred, new graduates with a solid academic background and demonstrable clinical skills are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with manual therapy techniques and knowledge of current therapy tools and technologies will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

Fit To Stretch Rehab Center offers a competitive salary range of $95,000 to $110,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
